About

Hello! I am a web developer by day and craft maker by night, morning, and weekends. My dog, Butters, inspires a lot of the things I make. Every now and then,  you’ll spot him in the background of my photos, looking for pets or snoring away.

I started off with making concrete pots for myself during the panini (pandemic for those who have a more verbose vocabulary). I needed a cheap option to house all the new plant cuttings I was creating out of all my existing plants. It grew into making vessels for candles because I was curious at what the process was like and everyone loves candles right?

Initially, making candles and planters was just a hobby to give away to friends and family. Then the inevitable statement pops up: ‘Hey, why don’t you sell these on Etsy?’ .

‘Who would buy these? Look at all these imperfections!’ – was my immediate thought.

Now, I look at the bubbles and uneven coloring on the vessels, that only seems visible to me, and see that as part of the charm of making something by hand.

You may be wondering, ‘Well okay that makes sense but how did you started making pins?’

My coworker was throwing ideas of having team swag like pins to represent our team and excitedly shared a youtube video of making pins at home. ‘That doesn’t look so hard’ is what I thought after making a rush purchase on amazon for supplies. The pins turn out to be a hit at work! I started venturing out to other designs and 50 different pins later, here we are.

Throughout this whole process, it’s been a fun adventure in figuring out packaging, shipping, and how to make the damn things. it’s been an enjoyable experience and I am glad to share it with you all!

PS: super glue does eventually come off your fingers even if it takes 24 hours.
